About

Greetings! (sup) I am Nick, a software developer, systems, and network engineer living in Toronto, Canada. In my spare time I’m a motorsports enthusiast (car/track nut), video game collector, world traveler, food nut (I eat too much) and amateur photographer. Currently, I’m the Systems Designer for the most awesome Federated Media Publishing. If you would like to get ahold of me for professional or personal reasons, feel free to email me at the email listed in the title of the page.
I love to write, and probably come up with rants, articles and other such things I’d like to publish on a daily basis. However life is busy and I almost never find the time to put them to paper (or wordpress as it were). Hopefully I’ll find my stride and this site will be more content rich in the future…
This is the n’th version of my personal home page. for microblogging, you will want to check out my twitter & google latitude powered micro blog (deprecated), alternatively twitter or my facebook profile. I likely will not be updating this about page that often. Thanks and enjoy!
The photo I use for the blog header is one I took in the summer of 2009 on a particularly foggy evening in Port Credit (Mississauga, Ontario). It was using Canon’s 50mm f/1.4, stopped way down on a 5dmk2 body, handheld. The crop I used does not include the family fishing (next to the no fishing sign) in the less than clean water way. It was chosen because it fit the color scheme of the template I was mutilating :D
